I think the first generation of recruiting software came in and the problem that they wanted to solve is how do I make a recruiters life easier and that included us as a vendor and going in and trying to figure out how do I create efficiencies and automations around the recruiters life for the longest time unfortunately we focused probably too much on the internal aspects of recruitment and not enough on the external I think the great news is that finally people are becoming more aware that we need to provide an absolutely incredible candidate experience that the candidate is the customer and so there's been huge advancements made on the employment branding side on the candidate application side to try to make sure that we're providing a great experience first and foremost making sure that you address the way that they want to apply so again if they don't have a traditional resume but they want to do a one-click apply with their LinkedIn profile we want to make that available if they're on a mobile device and they want to be able to just quickly apply while they're coming home from work one day we want to make sure that they can do that and design truly mobile responsive career portals last but not least I think with social we're trying to give them more insight to the company so that when you come to a career portal you can learn not just about the company but actually through your social network begin to get insights into who you might know within that company because again connections at the end of the day are really everything so I think it really is all about addressing the needs of the candidates and if we do we'll increase the throughput and provide better quality of candidate to the recruiter you
